長男(6才)が生まれて初めて作詞作曲した曲のトラックダウンが完了しました！

テーマは有名な芸術作品のことを歌っています。

いつ、何ができたのか、ファイルの更新日時を調べてみました。

  • 2015/10/12　歌詞とメロディ完成
  • 2016/4/11　歌収録
  • 2017/8/1 オケ完成

引っ越しやら何やらあって、作業が中断され、足掛け1年9ヶ月かかったんですね〜。

この曲は4段階のデモを経て最終形になりました。

それぞれのデモはどんなだったのでしょうか。

デモ1 「バンブラP＋CubaseLE7」

最初のデモは、なんとゲーム機で作ったのでした。長男の口から紡がれたメロディーに、「大合奏！バンドブラザーズP」の作曲ツールで伴奏を作って、ボカロに歌わせました。その伴奏部分をCubase LE7のオーディオトラックに録音。そこに居間で長男に歌をかぶせてもらいました。

デモ2 「CubaseLE7+NI KONPLETE 5」

本格的なソフトシンセ、NIのKONTAKT とBATTERY を使い、MIDIトラックで基本リズムを制作し直しました。間奏はまだ無く、1番〜4番の各コーラスを並べて繋いでいたのみ。イントロは、仮で入っていたが、結局最後までこのイントロが生かされたので、最初からあったということになります。

デモ3 「間奏制作」

間奏を制作。今の原型がほぼ完成。

デモ4 「ハードシンセで肉付け」

ソフトシンセだけの制作に煮詰まり、ハードシンセ(KORG TRITON)でストリングスとブラスを追加。ハードシンセに力をもらい、なかなか良いアレンジになったところで、作業完了としました。

感想

意外とアレンジに苦労しました。

子供の歌声に何を当てると良いのか、初めてだったので、結構迷ったんですね。

最終的に、KONTAKT3のリコーダーの音と、KORG TRITONのブラス、ストリングスで元気なアレンジになりました。

元気に歌ってくれた長男くん、ナイスな曲、それにボーカルをありがとう！

自由な発想を持つ子供は大人の発想も自由に開放してくれます。
